EP elections through the eyes of Russian propaganda

[PostPravДa] The EP elections are stirring up huge emotions not only in Europe, but also in Moscow. Far-right European parties from Germany, France and also Poland, which oppose support for Ukraine, are coming to the fore in the European Parliament. “The high electoral results of the far-right, nationalists and Eurosceptics may fundamentally change the future of the entire European Union,” – writes the regime’s Kremlin press. French President Emanuel Marcon dissolves the Paris parliament after the party of pro-Russian Marine Le Pen won the EP elections. The Belgian prime minister also resigned. In Poland, the far-right and pro-Russian Confederation party came third in the race for seats in the Europarliament. Among others, Grzegorz Braun, known for his anti-Semitic and anti-Ukrainian speeches, will sit on the EP bench.

All this is what Jedrzej Morawiecki tells you about every day. Here is the propaganda press release from Moscow. Headlines from 10.06.2024, the 838th day since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

EP elections are won by the far right

‘European Parliament elections. Extreme right-wing parties dealt a blow to the ruling party. (…) The results of the vote are a wake-up call for the Kiev regime. They showed that the pro-Ukrainian and Russophobic policy of the authorities of many countries, above all France and Germany, has failed, and that forces opposing further military support for Kiev and in favour of resuming close relations with Moscow are gaining ground. (…) The high electoral results of the far right, nationalists and Eurosceptics could fundamentally change the future of the entire European Union. (…) Climate issues will recede into the background”.

“Macron has caught up: the far right has forced him to dissolve parliament. (…) The results of the European elections are not an earthquake or even a tectonic shift. It is a disaster comparable to Napoleon’s La Bérézina. (…) The requiem bell for today’s Europe has already sounded. (…) The EU, which has existed in its current form and political set-up for just over 30 years, has just disintegrated. And that in the space of a single evening’.

“Le Pen applauded Macron’s decision to dissolve the National Assembly. Her party is ready to govern.”

“Pushkov commented on the defeat of Macron’s party in the European Parliament elections. (…) ‘Macron’s political movement should be called ‘Extinction’ rather than ‘Rebirth’ because it is leading France into degeneration. Apparently, however, very many French people do not want to share such a fate,’ the senator wrote in his commentary. Pushkov also recalled that the French President had set his sights on a clash with Russia, which led to a loss of voters’.

“Bavaria’s prime minister calls for early elections in Germany.”

Poland in the Russian media

“Poland recorded an extremely low turnout in the European Parliament elections.

“Polish media: nuclear war, unleashed by the West, will destroy Poland. (…) A columnist for the newspaper Myśl Polska, Łukasz Jastrzębski, writes about this. (…) The Polish columnist notes that Western countries have already become dictatorships and are now transforming themselves into police super-states.”

“Vladimir Putin will soon visit North Korea and Vietnam. (…) So far, Putin has only been to North Korea once – at the beginning of his first term, on 19-20 July 2000, when he met with former DPRK leader Kim Jong Il”.

‘The DPRK sent more than three hundred balloons to South Korea, filled with rubbish. (…) ‘It was waste paper and plastic. No hazardous substances were found’, the military reported. (…) Recently, the North Korean leadership announced that it would respond to the distribution of propaganda materials sent from Seoul.”

“Hamburg AFD Councilwoman Olga Petersen moved with her children from Germany to Russia. She did it for their safety.”

Elon Musk in the Kremlin papers again

“Elon Musk said he doesn’t understand why the AFD is being labelled as a far-right party. (…) ‘Why such a negative reaction? (…) They don’t seem like extremists to me at all’, he quipped.”

“Orban revealed the West’s plans against Russia. They are all about raw materials.”

“Russia is liberating the world from Nazism, says Nicaraguan presidential adviser.”

“Russia is holding back the growth of godlessness in the world, Patriarch Kirill said.”

“The planet needs protection from NATO warmongers. The architects of the colour revolutions must understand that any attempt to overthrow a legitimate government in a country allied with Russia will be met with the harshest possible response. (…) We need an international fire safety (counter-revolutionary) system. Russia will play a major role in it. (…) After all, we already have experience in extinguishing dangerous flashpoints – in Syria since 2015 and in Kazakhstan in 2022. (…) Our New Holy Alliance will not hesitate to exercise its right to intervene in other countries – the same right that European monarchies, truly sovereign, once had, unlike today’s Americanised Europe.”

“The Russian Foreign Ministry considered the visit of the Armenian delegation to Bucha as an unfriendly step.

“The students who constructed and detonated the bombs were detained in Belarus”.

Homeland News:

“One in three condoms in Russia is counterfeit. (…) The ease of condom production means that products that do not provide adequate protection are sold illegally in Russia.”

“In Moscow, the police broke up a drunkama party. (…) At least a dozen citizens from near abroad organised the party in identical white pyjamas with hearts. (…) They were all detained. (…) Recall that it was recently postulated in the Duma that a dress-code for artists in Russia should be developed”.
