[PostPravДa] Today we will learn from the Russian press how – according to Kremlin propaganda – the meeting attended by Vladimir Putin and media representatives went. After all, journalists were given “a unique opportunity to hear the truth from the mouth of the president himself.” We will also read about Medvedev’s threats that “Russia may supply weapons to enemies of the US regardless of their status,” and the death of a judge who “fell out of a window” in Moscow.
All this is what Jedrzej Morawiecki tells you about every day. Here is a propaganda press release from Moscow. Headlines from 6.06.2024, the 834th day since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Propaganda press release from Moscow: Putin met with the media
“Medvedev: Russia can supply weapons to US enemies regardless of their status. (…) ‘The Yankees and their European drooling dogs think they have the right to transfer any weapons to Ukraine, and other countries can’t help Russia. (…) Let the U.S. and its supporters get a taste of Russian weapons, used by third parties. (…) It could be anyone who considers the US as their enemies. Regardless of their political beliefs and international status. (…) May our enemies burn in hellfire!'”.

“Putin answered questions from journalists from unfriendly countries. The meeting lasted more than three hours. They talked on Wednesday evening (until 11:35 pm). The meeting was attended by 16 people – equally from friendly and unfriendly countries. Unfortunately, some journalists were very poorly prepared. (…) It’s no secret that the Russian offices of Western news agencies were deserted after the start of Specoperation. Their superiors tried to get rid of their employees from our country as much as possible. Now their editorial offices have a maximum of 3-4 people, mostly with Russian passports. They had to travel to the meeting with Putin by bus. However, no one refused. (…) They were given a unique chance to hear the truth from the mouth of the president himself.
(…) The meeting was scheduled at the Lakhta Center, and the president was very late for it. It was all the fault of Alexei Miller, the head of Gazprom, who was showing the head of state around his domain. Well, it was simply impossible to get out of his clutches. Mr. Miller paid attention to every detail, was ready to dissect for hours and most simply infected with his enthusiasm. ‘You had to sit here for half a day. I’m sorry about that,’ Vladimir Putin commiserated with the journalists.
(…) Traditionally, the right to ask the first question was given to a woman. And it was a woman from the country most friendly with Russia. The representative of the Belta agency asked how relations between Putin and Lukashenko are developing, and whether there are politicians among the leaders of Western countries with whom the same constructive dialogue can be built. Samia Nakhoul, Global News Editor at Reuters, then spoke. (…) Frankly, Ms. Nakhoul did not prepare for the meeting. After all, the first question she asked was already answered by Putin! And not just once!
(…) Martin Romanczyk, head of the German news service DPA, asked in turn what awaits Germany after Olaf Scholz agreed to supply Ukraine with long-range weapons. ‘Did you in any way warn or threaten the chancellor after he made this decision?’ – Romanczyk asked anxiously. Vladimir Putin laughed heartily upon hearing this question. ‘Where did you get the idea that we are threatening anyone? We, after all, do not threaten anyone,’ the president assured with a laugh and added that Germany has never been a truly sovereign state.
(…) At the end of the meeting, Samia Nakhoul of Reuters suddenly became animated again. As you can see – after three hours she managed to come up with a new, albeit very predictable, question. ‘What would signal a nuclear war and how close are we to it?’ – the journalist asked. ‘For some reason, the West believes that we will never use tactical nuclear weapons’. – shrugged our president’s shoulders at this, reminding him that Russia has 70-75 kiloton weapons. So it would be better if no one provoked us.
(…) Vladimir Putin gave all the journalists present detailed and, it must be said, extremely optimistic answers to the questions asked.”
“Putin said it was necessary to build relations with the Afghan authorities. (…) ‘We have always acted based on realities. And the reality is that the Taliban controls power in Afghanistan.'”

We don’t need anything else,’ Miller agreed with our president.”
