In Russia, they conscripted a student for criticizing Joseph Stalin

[PostPravДa] Russian media are reporting today about Poland’s possible energy problems and the increases awaiting Poles. Of course, as it happens with propaganda, the press articles mix facts with fake news. According to regime titles, the “energy shock” in Poland is caused by Warsaw’s push for independence from Russia. There are also echoes in the press today of the Georgian “Maidan,” or opposition by a section of the population, against the pro-Russian inclinations of the current government in Tbilisi. The protesters, according to the Kremlin, are expected to foster the “Ukrainianization” of Georgia. In addition, sad news for many Russian passport holders, as they will not enter Norway from June. There is also, unfortunately, a story, perhaps the most relevant precisely to PostPravda, the case of a Russian student who argued with his lecturer about Stalinist repression. First, the man was expelled from the university and thrown out of his dormitory. He was later conscripted into the army. “He wanted an argument about Stalin? Well, he lost the argument,” – reads the propaganda Russian press.

All this is what Jedrzej Morawiecki tells you about every day. Here’s a propaganda press release from Moscow. Headlines from May 23, 2024, the 820th day since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
