“Kirylo Budanov was killed near Kharkov”. – claims Russian propaganda

Russian propaganda media are reporting that Ukrainian intelligence chief Kirylo Budanov and several other high-ranking SZU officers were supposedly killed last night in a missile attack on a military training ground in Chukhuiv near Kharkov.

Budanov dies as often as Zaluzhny

There is not a word in the Ukrainian media on this subject. Even no information about any rockets flying towards Kharkiv yesterday.

Similarly, General Valery Zaluzhny, who eventually became Ukraine’s ambassador to the UK, has already been killed several times. Killing generals, ministers, or other important figures is a long-known disinformation technique.

Sometimes Putin was already dying, then General Syrsky was supposed to die in the bombing of Pavlograd, yet he turned out alive and is now commanding the Ukrainian army.

What purpose is served by such tricks?

Information about the death of a particular influential person sets in motion many mechanisms among the governments of other countries that disrupt their functioning for a while. It’s chaos to favor Russia in settling its interests and in gathering information on how Ukraine’s allies, for example, reacted. Well… it causes a huge waste of time to clarify whether we are dealing with a dead or, for example, a zombie-ambassador rising from the grave 🙂 We are fighting Russian disinformation on the site
